OPEC+ Expected to Approve Latest Oil Quota Increase of 188,000 Barrels Per Day on Sunday

According to representatives, OPEC+ is expected to approve a further crude oil quota increase of 188,000 barrels per day in July during a video conference on Sunday (June 8), as part of a three-stage plan to complete production restoration by September. Over the past year, the alliance has restored more than 80% of production cuts implemented in 2023, paving the way for the final phase of supply increases originally scheduled for 2027.
