OpenAI Launches Codex Micro Keyboard Priced at $230, Co-Developed With Work Louder

According to TechCrunch, OpenAI officially entered the hardware market on July 16 by launching the Codex Micro keyboard, priced at $230 and designed exclusively for its Codex AI coding assistant. Developed in collaboration with keyboard designer Work Louder, the keyboard features illuminated keys displaying agent status, shortcut command keys for Codex common operations, a joystick for workflow initiation, and a dial to adjust the agent's "reasoning" level. The device functions as a "command center" for agent work and can be controlled and customized through the ChatGPT desktop application.
