OpenAI Rolls Out GPT-5.5 Instant to All ChatGPT Users Starting Today

According to OpenAI’s announcement on May 6, GPT-5.5 Instant is now available to all ChatGPT users. For paid users, GPT-5.3 Instant will remain accessible through model settings for the next three months before being retired. The memory feature is rolling out to all ChatGPT consumer plan users on the web and will be available on mobile devices soon.
