OpenAI's ChatGPT Unlocks AI Form-Filling Feature on May 23

According to Guru Club, on May 23, OpenAI announced that ChatGPT can now automatically fill forms after users upload documents and provide descriptions via voice or text. The system identifies form fields and auto-completes information based on user input. In the demonstration, a user uploaded a fitness membership form and verbally provided name, address, and fitness goals; ChatGPT identified all fields and filled them automatically. The feature integrates image recognition, voice interaction, and content generation into a continuous workflow, reading form fields from uploaded images while receiving voice commands and generating contextual responses.

However, the system currently outputs static images rather than editable PDFs or interactive documents, requiring manual transcription in some cases. Additionally, uploaded files must be sufficiently clear to ensure accurate extraction and filling.
