Payward Partners With GTN to Expand Kraken's xStocks to Hong Kong, Europe, and South Korea on Wednesday

Payward, the parent company of crypto exchange Kraken, partnered with global fintech GTN on Wednesday to expand xStocks beyond U.S. equities for the first time. The collaboration will introduce tokenized stocks from Hong Kong, the U.K., Europe, and South Korea, subject to regulatory approvals in each jurisdiction. GTN will provide execution, custody, and record-keeping for the assets underlying each token.

According to Payward, xStocks has processed over $35 billion in transaction volume since launching in June 2025 and now covers 500+ tokenized assets. The move puts xStocks in direct competition with Robinhood's tokenized equities product, which launched on July 1, and Coinbase's planned offerings through its Base network.
