According to Pi Network community updates, on May 19, Testnet 1 and Testnet 2 have fully completed migration to Protocol V23, while Mainnet remains on V22 during the final synchronization stage. The deadline marks the beginning of network-wide node operator migration to the new protocol. According to a Twitter post from @Mahidhar_Crypto, V23 successfully deployed on Testnet2 and if no bugs are found, it will move directly to Mainnet. The upgrade introduces smart contract programmability, improved consensus standardization, enhanced network synchronization, and advanced security mechanisms.
