Polish President Vetoes Crypto Regulation Bill for Third Time on Thursday

According to Reuters, Polish President Karol Nawrocki vetoed on Thursday for the third time a bill aimed at regulating cryptocurrencies and implementing EU regulations. The president stated the legislation failed to address his previous concerns. Polish lawmakers passed the crypto regulation bill in May to implement EU requirements that must be approved by July. Nawrocki indicated he supports industry regulation and consumer protection but said the government ignored most proposals from his office. The bill would be signed into law if amended to incorporate his suggestions.
