Polymarket Lists Prediction Market on U.S. Congress War Powers Resolution on Iran by June 30

According to Odaily Seer, Polymarket has launched a new prediction market on whether the U.S. House and Senate will pass a unified resolution limiting U.S. military operations against Iran by June 30, 2026.

Since late February, Congress has repeatedly attempted to invoke the War Powers Resolution of 1973. The Senate conducted a procedural vote in mid-May, and the House formed a bipartisan majority; however, House Republican leadership abruptly withdrew the full vote on May 21, citing insufficient attendance. With lawmakers returning after Memorial Day recess in early June, the window to finalize the resolution before the June 30 deadline has narrowed significantly. Market participants expect the two chambers are unlikely to pass unified constraints before the deadline, particularly given potential White House veto threats.
