POSCO International's Q2 Operating Profit Forecast to Rise 12.11% to 351.6 Billion Won

According to Yonhapinfomax, POSCO International's operating profit for the second quarter of 2026 is expected to reach 351.6 billion won, up 12.11% year-over-year, based on a consensus of 13 major domestic securities firms' projections. Sales revenue is forecast at 8.4294 trillion won, representing a 3.5% increase.

The earnings growth is primarily driven by contributions from previously invested assets, including increased LNG production from Australia's Senex gas field and the acquisition of palm farms, projected to add approximately 170 billion won to operating profit. Higher energy prices compared to the previous year provide additional support for the company's results.
