According to Eleanor Terrett, Protect Progress, a super PAC linked to Fairshake, invested $3.1 million on June 2 in Maryland's 5th Congressional District to support Adrian Boafo's Democratic primary campaign. The latest poll commissioned by Clarity Campaign Labs shows Boafo leads Democratic primary candidates with 17% support, up significantly from 3% in early 2026 and 10% in mid-April. Boafo holds a 40% favorability rating among voters and has secured endorsements from U.S. Senator Angela Alsobrooks and Maryland Governor Wes Moore.
