Putin: Meeting With Zelenskyy Requires Finding Conflict Resolution Plan First

According to Russian media CCTV, on June 5, Putin stated that any meeting with Zelenskyy must be preceded by finding a solution to the conflict. Putin emphasized that Russia needs a long-term agreement, not a temporary ceasefire. This came after Zelenskyy proposed on June 4 a face-to-face meeting in a third country to end the war. Putin reiterated Russia's willingness to reach a peace agreement based on outcomes from earlier Russia-U.S. talks in Anchorage.
