HYPE2.68%
According to ARK Invest research director Lorenzo Valente, real-world assets (RWA) represented 54% of total trading volume on Hyperliquid last week, marking the first time RWAs have outpaced cryptocurrencies in weekly volume on the decentralized derivatives platform. Hyperliquid's HIP-3 framework enables perpetual futures trading on tokenized equities and commodities. Valente noted that single stocks now account for 61% of all RWA trading volume, overtaking indices and commodities since June. During the period, Hyperliquid captured $50 billion of the $79 billion in overall decentralized exchange perpetual futures volume, with RWA trading accounting for $26 billion of the platform's total volume.
