According to Russian officials on May 9, Russia has no plans to extend the ceasefire running from May 9 to 11, Russian Presidential Aide Ushakov said, responding to U.S. President Trump’s earlier call for a significant extension. Russian Presidential Spokesman Peskov added that reaching a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine remains a long process involving complex details, requiring patience despite U.S. pressure for quick results, according to CCTV International News.
