According to the UN World Food Program (WFP), on May 26, Russian forces struck a humanitarian aid warehouse in southeastern Dnipro with an Iskander-M short-range ballistic missile. The facility contained approximately $1.4 million worth of food supplies intended to support 130,000 people. Photos released by the WFP showed significant damage to the warehouse roof, which clearly bore UN markings. The WFP condemned the attack as a war crime and violation of international humanitarian law, stating that targeting humanitarian workers assisting civilians affected by conflict constitutes a criminal act. No casualties were reported from the strike.
