According to Bits.media, Russia's central bank proposed banning citizens from trading on foreign cryptocurrency exchanges that comply with international sanctions, Ekaterina Lozgacheva, head of the bank's strategic development department, said. Non-professional investors face an annual purchasing limit of 300,000 rubles and must pass a test to access cryptocurrencies through domestic brokers. The restrictions are expected to take effect on July 1 under an updated digital asset law.
