Sablier Labs Stops Active Development, Enters Maintenance Mode Until June 2028 as Q1 Usage and Revenue Decline

According to BlockBeats and founder Paul Razvan Berg, on July 14, Sablier Labs, an on-chain token distribution and payment protocol, stopped active product development and entered maintenance mode until June 2028. Existing payment streams, vesting schedules, and airdrops remain unaffected, and smart contracts will continue running on-chain.

Berg attributed the decision to a significant drop in usage and revenue during Q1 2026, with customers delaying product launches due to market deterioration. The team concluded that while there is demand for on-chain token distribution and payment infrastructure, the market size is insufficient to sustain the company.
