According to Samsung at Galaxy Unpacked 2026, the company announced on July 22 that Samsung Wallet will support stablecoins, positioning it as a core platform for digital value transfer. Samsung said it will become one of the first major mobile brands to natively support stablecoins on smartphones, enabling fast and secure digital asset transfers. The expanded Samsung Wallet will integrate payments, rewards, and digital assets into a unified financial ecosystem, moving beyond its current role as a payment service to include keys, IDs, and other daily essentials. The company also introduced Samsung Galaxy Card, the first financial service built on Samsung Wallet, developed in partnership with Barclays and Visa for the U.S. market.
