Samsung Foundry Workers Show 81.5% Turnover Intent Within Two Years, Double Memory Division Rate

According to a Samsung Electronics union survey released this week, 81.5% of Foundry Division employees indicated intention to leave within two years, more than double the 32.7% turnover intent among Memory Division workers. The disparity stems from performance bonus inequality: Memory Division staff expect maximum bonuses of 600 million Korean won, while non-memory divisions are projected to receive approximately 100 million won. The significant compensation gap within Samsung's Device Solutions (DS) division has sparked concerns about organizational attrition among junior employees.
