According to OPEC’s monthly report, Saudi Arabia’s crude oil output fell to 6.316 million barrels per day in April, marking the lowest level since 1990. The Iran war disrupted Persian Gulf transportation routes, causing Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Iraq to experience their steepest production declines on record. Oil prices surged as a result of the supply constraints.
