According to CNBC, on Wednesday, June 3, Senate Banking Subcommittee on Digital Assets Chair Cynthia Lummis criticized JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon's recent comments on the Clarity Act, calling them "distasteful." Lummis said Dimon "either hasn't read the bill or he wants to mislead people," noting that Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act requirements mentioned by Dimon already apply to digital assets under the proposed legislation.
