Shenyang Activates Level-2 Flood Emergency Response on July 13 as Heavy Rain Warning Issued; All Schools and Workplaces Suspended

According to Shenyang Meteorological Bureau, on July 13 at 4:14 a.m., the bureau issued a red alert for heavy rain. Some districts in the city had already recorded 10-40 mm of rainfall within the past hour, with an additional 60-80 mm expected over the next 2 to 3 hours. In response, Shenyang initiated its Level-2 flood emergency response and suspended all classes and work across the city to prevent flooding and secondary disasters.
