Silicon Wafer Prices Fall This Week as Downstream Demand Weakens; Top Producers' Operating Rates Hit 54%-56%

According to Jin10 Futures citing Antai Intelligence, silicon wafer prices fell this week (July 23) amid weakening downstream demand, elevated inventory levels, and cost pressures. Wafer supply remains loose as producers maintain normal output, while battery manufacturers focus on inventory liquidation with reduced purchasing intent. Key producers' operating rates stand at 54%-56% for leading enterprises and 58%-60% for vertically integrated companies. In the near term, the market is expected to trade in low-level consolidation given persistent demand softness and high stock levels.
