Silver and Gold Retreat from Highs; Gate XAU and XAG Contracts Lead in Open Interest

According to ChainCatcher, precious metals declined recently after earlier gains, with silver and gold both under pressure. Silver (XAG) reached a 24-hour high of $75.16 and now trades at $72.52; gold (XAU) hit $4,517.28 and now stands at $4,440.99.

Gate's XAG contracts recorded $109 million in 24-hour trading volume and $64.61 million in open interest, both ranking second in the industry, according to CoinGlass data. Gate's XAU contracts maintained $116 million in open interest, also ranking second.
