SK Hynix to Report Record Q2 Earnings This Week, Revenue Up 278.6% YoY

According to Maeil Business Newspaper, SK Hynix is set to report record second-quarter earnings this week, with revenue estimated at 84.17 trillion won, up 278.6% year-over-year. Operating profit is projected at 64.24 trillion won, nearly 7 times higher than the prior year. The earnings surge reflects strong demand from AI data center investments driving a semiconductor super cycle.

Samsung Electronics, which posted preliminary Q2 results of 171 trillion won in revenue and 89.4 trillion won in operating profit, will release final earnings on July 30. SK Hynix's earnings announcement is scheduled for July 29.
