South Korean Prosecutors Search Korea Exchange Over LNF's Tesla Supply Contract Disclosure

According to Yonhapinfomax, on July 27, South Korea's Financial Supervisory Service special prosecutors conducted searches at the Korea Exchange to obtain documents related to LNF's Tesla high-nickel cathode material supply contract disclosure.

The searches focused on gathering LNF's filing materials and contract review documents to verify compliance. LNF had disclosed a 3.8347 trillion Korean won contract with Tesla in February 2023 with supply through end of 2025, but later disclosed on December 29, 2025 that the contract value was reduced to 9,730,316 Korean won. Prosecutors are also investigating LNF's share disposition activities around the contract adjustment period.
