South Korea's 4,400-Ton Destroyer Departs for U.S. Bicentennial Fleet Review on May 11

According to South Korea’s Navy, the 4,400-ton destroyer Munmu the Great departed from Jeju Naval Base on May 11 to participate in the U.S. Bicentennial International Fleet Review and joint naval exercises. The vessel will join U.S. Navy-led maneuvers in late June off Norfolk, Virginia, with 30+ ships from 18 countries including the U.S., France, Brazil, and Spain. From July 3 to 8, the destroyer will attend the fleet review in New York, where over 100 vessels from more than 50 nations, including the U.S., Canada, Japan, and the UK, will participate.
