South Korea's Covered Call ETFs Surge Over 13% in Past Week Amid Market Volatility

According to Financial News, South Korean covered call dividend ETFs surged over 13% this past week as market volatility prompted retail investors to seek defensive strategies. RISE 200 High Dividend Covered Call ATM led gains with a 13.75% increase, while SOL Financial Group Plus High Dividend jumped 7.01% and KODEX Shareholder Return High Dividend rose 6.34%. These products, which generate returns through call option premiums on underlying holdings, offer better downside protection during choppy market conditions compared to traditional equity ETFs.
