South Korea's Domestic ETF Market Cap Drops 80 Trillion Won in a Month

According to KRX Data Marketplace, the combined market capitalization of 1,146 domestic listed ETFs in South Korea declined to 455 trillion won as of July 16, down 80 trillion won from a peak of 535 trillion won on June 22. The decline was driven by a sharp selloff in semiconductor stocks, which had led the market recovery. Semiconductor-related ETFs fell from six positions to five among the top 20 ETFs by market cap, with TIGER Semiconductor Top 10 dropping from third place (13.7 trillion won) to sixth place (9.7 trillion won).
