South Korea's Lee Attends Korea-Mongolia Business Forum in Ulaanbaatar on July 9

According to Yonhap Infomax, South Korea's President Lee Jae-myung attended a Korea-Mongolia Business Forum in Ulaanbaatar on July 9 (local time) alongside Mongolia's President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh. The forum, jointly hosted by South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Mongolia's Foreign Ministry, discussed economic cooperation across critical minerals, infrastructure, distribution, and digital sectors. Approximately 180 Korean business representatives from firms including LS, POSCO Holdings, SK, LG CNS, and Kakao Bank participated, while around 120 Mongolian executives from MCS Group, Tavan Bogd Group, and other major companies attended. The forum is expected to result in private-sector memoranda of understanding and export consultations between the two countries.
