According to Reuters, SpaceX is in talks with the U.S. Department of Defense to provide data center computing resources worth billions of dollars for artificial intelligence model operations, the company disclosed on Friday (July 17). If the partnership succeeds, it would deepen SpaceX's existing collaboration with the Pentagon, which already relies on the company for rocket launches, satellite communications, and missile tracking services. Reuters noted the negotiations remain ongoing and could still fall through.
