SpaceX Positions AI as $26.5T Market Opportunity in May 21 IPO Filing

According to Bloomberg, SpaceX filed its IPO materials on May 21 positioning itself as an artificial intelligence company, with AI representing US$26.5 trillion of its US$28.5 trillion total addressable market. Enterprise AI applications account for most of that opportunity, while space, Starlink internet, and mobile services represent nearly US$2 trillion.

xAI, which became core to SpaceX's AI business following a February all-stock deal, reported US$3.2 billion in 2025 revenue and a US$6.4 billion operating loss, compared to approximately US$1.6 billion loss the prior year.
