Starlink Users Reach 7.8 Million in 2025, Up Fourfold Since 2021, But ARPU Declines 18%

GateNews

According to The Information, Starlink’s global user base reached approximately 7.8 million in 2025, representing fourfold growth since 2021. However, the company’s average revenue per user (ARPU) declined by roughly 18% over the same period, driven by aggressive pricing and expansion into emerging markets across Africa, Latin America, and parts of Asia. Enterprise services and high-margin aviation and maritime businesses continue to grow but represent a limited portion of overall revenue.
