Suncor's Commerce City Refinery Shuts Down After Third-Party Power Outage Monday

According to Reuters, Suncor Energy's Commerce City refinery in Colorado experienced an unplanned shutdown on Monday due to a third-party power outage. The facility, which has a daily production capacity of 98,000 barrels, is currently undergoing startup operations.

The Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment dispatched an inspector to the site following the incident and is continuing to monitor air pollution levels in the area.
