Supabase Raises $500M at $10.5B Valuation on AI-Assisted Coding Wave

According to CNBC, backend infrastructure startup Supabase raised $500 million at a $10.5 billion valuation on Thursday, marking a valuation doubling since its October funding round. The funding round was led by GIC and included Accel, Y Combinator, Craft, Felicis, and Coatue.

Supabase's growth has been fueled by the surge in AI-assisted coding tools, particularly Anthropic's Claude Code and OpenAI's Codex, which now account for the majority of databases on Supabase's platform. Claude Code is the largest contributor in 2026, according to CEO Paul Copplestone.
