According to CoinDesk, Swift recently announced its blockchain-based shared ledger platform is ready for live testing with 17 major banks, including HSBC, UBS, BNP Paribas, Citi, BNY, and Wells Fargo, covering six continents. The platform enables round-the-clock cross-border payments using tokenized deposits, allowing banks to move funds for clients during nights and weekends.
