TAC Recovers 90% of ~$2.8M After May 12 Cross-Chain Attack, Attacker Retains 10% Bounty

According to Foresight News, TAC’s blockchain team confirmed on May 14 that attackers have returned approximately 90% of the ~$2.8 million in assets (USDT, BLUM, and tsTON) stolen from the cross-chain layer on May 12, with the attacker retaining 10% as a white-hat bounty. The stolen funds were dispersed across Ethereum, TON, TAC, BNB Chain, and Zcash. TAC stated that the cross-chain layer fund imbalance will be fully repaired.
