Turkish Central Bank Raises 2026 Food Inflation Forecast to 26.3%, Up from 19%

Turkish Central Bank revised upward its food price inflation forecasts on May 14. The central bank now expects food price inflation of 26.3% in 2026, up from a previous forecast of 19%. For 2027, the forecast was raised to 19% from 11% in the earlier report.
