UK PM Starmer Forms Government, Pledges Reindustrialization and Unwavering Ukraine Support on July 20

According to Jin10, on July 20, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer formally accepted the invitation to form a government and delivered his inaugural address at Downing Street. He pledged to introduce a new political and economic model, with plans to shift power from Westminster to regional areas and push UK reindustrialization through public procurement and returning essential services to public control. Starmer will unveil a new ten-year plan later this year. He also confirmed that support for Ukraine remains unchanged, stating he will reaffirm this commitment in an upcoming call with Ukrainian President Zelensky, following an initial conversation with US President Trump.
