According to Russia’s Defense Ministry, on May 13, two days after the end of a three-day ceasefire proposed by U.S. President Trump, Ukraine resumed drone strikes on Russian oil refineries and ports. The Russian military said it intercepted and destroyed 286 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory overnight. Debris from the strikes triggered a fire at an industrial facility near Volna village in Russia’s southern Krasnodar region, where Taman port’s oil product terminals are located. In Astrakhan region, another strike caused a fire at a natural gas processing facility that also produces fuel.
