Ukrainian Military Neutralizes Russian Position Using Unmanned Robots and Drones, No Infantry Support

According to Forbes on July 17, the Ukrainian 33rd Independent Assault Brigade successfully neutralized a Russian defensive position in the Dobropillia area of Donetsk region using only unmanned systems, targeting five Russian soldiers. The operation deployed two M2 Browning 12.7mm-equipped ground combat robots, two small reconnaissance drones, and one large bombing drone. The ground robots suppressed enemy forces from fortified positions while the bombing drone conducted airborne strikes, effectively replicating traditional infantry-artillery combined tactics through unmanned systems.
