GateNews
According to Reuters and local media, the U.S. Consulate in Greenland officially opened its new office on May 21, but Greenlandic government officials boycotted the ceremony by refusing to attend. The consulate relocated from a small wooden house in the suburbs of Nuuk, the capital, to a three-story office building covering approximately 3,000 square meters in the city center. Greenland's Premier Jens-Frederik Nielsen and other officials had previously stated they would decline invitations to the inauguration. The Danish government also did not send representatives.
