According to Artemis, U.S. cryptocurrency ETF assets under management have plunged from a peak of $191.4 billion in October 2025 to roughly $84 billion, with approximately $107 billion exiting since April.

U.S. investors are leading the retreat, with the Coinbase Premium Index turning negative and spot Bitcoin ETF weekly inflows collapsing after April 17. The index, which measures U.S. investor demand against global demand, printed -0.086 on its seven-day simple moving average, signaling a steep bearish stance among traditional investors.
