U.S. Defense Secretary and Joint Chiefs Chair to Testify Before Senate on Tuesday Over U.S.-Iran Escalation

According to Jin10, U.S. Defense Secretary Hegisess and General Dan Kane, Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will testify before the Senate Armed Services Committee on Tuesday at 2:30 AM Beijing time (Tuesday afternoon local time). The hearing will focus on the Trump administration's request for additional defense funding amid escalating U.S.-Iran tensions.

The hearing comes after at least two American soldiers were killed in an Iranian attack on Friday and another U.S. service member died during a controlled demolition of an Iranian drone in Iraq.
