According to Guru Club citing Guang Da Futures analysis, U.S. job openings surged to 7.62 million in April, the highest level in nearly two years and exceeding market expectations of 6.87 million, signaling resilience in the labor market.

Meanwhile, according to Iranian media reports, Iran announced plans to suspend its communication channel with the United States through intermediaries and declared an intention to completely block the Strait of Hormuz in protest of expanded Israeli military operations in Lebanon.
