U.S. June Unemployment Rate Expected to Hold at 4.3%, Nonfarm Payroll Growth Projected Around 87,000

According to Glenmede, U.S. June unemployment rate is expected to remain at 4.3%, with nonfarm payroll growth projected at around 87,000 jobs, on July 1. The figure is lower than May's 172,000 but still represents a strong result amid the current low-hiring, low-layoffs labor market environment, according to Glenmede investment strategy chief Jason Pride and vice president Michael Reynolds.
