U.S.-Listed Leveraged ETFs Hit 700, More Than Double 2024 Year-End Count

According to The Kobeissi Letter, U.S.-listed leveraged ETFs reached a record 700 in H1 2026, more than double the count at the end of 2024. Over 400 of these are single-stock leveraged ETFs. Leveraged and inverse ETFs accounted for 31% of all new U.S. ETF launches in H1 2026, up from 22% for full-year 2025. In June alone, 117 leveraged and inverse ETFs were listed, representing nearly half of that month's new ETF launches.
