U.S. Manufacturing Adds 7,000 Jobs in May, Beats Expectations of 2,000

According to U.S. employment data, American manufacturing employment added 7,000 positions in May (seasonally adjusted), exceeding analyst expectations of 2,000. The Labor Department also revised the prior month's figure upward from minus 2,000 to zero.
