U.S. Middle East Envoys Meet Nuclear Experts at Tennessee Lab for Iran Talks Preparation

According to AXIOS, U.S. Middle East envoys Steve Wittcoff and Jared Kushner visited Oak Ridge National Laboratory on Thursday to consult with a nuclear expert team designated for potential Iran nuclear negotiations. The White House is seeking a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Iran to end conflict and launch substantive nuclear talks. U.S. officials confirmed that a team of approximately 100 experts has been assembled and is on standby to participate in negotiations once an initial agreement is reached. According to participating U.S. officials and regional sources, the U.S. and Iran remain in disagreement over several details of the MOU, with the current stage described as the final phase.
