U.S. Officials Allege Pakistan Allowed Iranian Military Aircraft at Airports; Islamabad Denies on May 12

According to CBS, U.S. officials alleged on May 12 that Pakistan has allowed Iranian military aircraft to be parked at its airports to potentially shield them from American airstrikes, while Pakistan positions itself as a diplomatic channel between Tehran and Washington.

A senior Pakistani official denied the allegations, telling CBS News that Nur Khan Air Base is located in the city center where large numbers of aircraft cannot escape public view. Taliban chief spokesman also denied Iran has aircraft in Afghanistan, stating the claim is untrue.
