According to Wall Street Journal citing Vanda Research, on July 19, U.S. retail investors redirected capital from Magnificent 7 tech giants to AI infrastructure companies including Intel and SK Hynix. During July 1-17, Intel received net inflows of $194 million, 3.7 times Microsoft's $52 million. The shift reflects retail investors moving beyond concentrated big-tech bets toward semiconductor and data center operators critical to AI buildout.
